AXA Investment Managers - Real Assets has appointed Andrew Stainer as head of Northern Europe, a newly created role overseeing all transactions and business operations within the UK, Germany, Nordics, Switzerland and Central Eastern Europe.
Stainer will be based in London and Cologne and will report to Anne Kavanagh, Global Head of Asset Management & Transactions.
'Andrew is a well-respected real estate and corporate advisory professional, who brings with him a global perspective and deep expertise, having worked across a range of markets and industries, all of which will enable us to further enhance the value that we can offer to our partners and clients across Northern Europe on a truly local level,' Kavanagh said.
The appointment forms part of the creation of two new positions, with Nathalie Charles, currently pan-European development leader and head of Southern Europe covering France, Italy and Spain, also adding the Netherlands/Benelux to her watch.
Stainer brings 25 years’ experience in international real estate advisory and finance to the position, including experience in capital markets, corporate advisory and non-profit sectors across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Australia.
