The company has appointed Matthias Hübner as fund manager, Long Income Europe and Alexander Sperl as asset manager, Real Estate. They report to Gil Bar, managing director, Real Estate, Germany.

Hübner joins to primarily manage the Aviva Investors Continental European Long Lease Strategy (CELLS), which launched earlier this year. UK) properties with an initial focus on office, retail, logistic and alternative sectors in Germany, Austria, Benelux and Scandinavia.

He joins from Deutsche Real Estate where he was head of Investment management in the German Student Housing Market.

Sperl joins as an asset manager, responsible for real estate asset management initiatives within the German hub. He joins from Commerz Real, where he spent nearly 10 years as a senior asset and investment manager for Germany and Austria.
