Global asset manager Aviva Investors has announced the appointment of Sue Jarvis as director of retail asset management in its direct real estate business.
Based in London, Jarvis will report to Tony Christie, head of retail asset management, and will work on leasing redesign and managing customer relationships with the occupiers. She will also have responsibility for a portfolio of retail assets across the UK.
She has over 30 years’ experience working for high street retailers. For the last eight years she was group property director at New Look, where she was responsible for its store portfolio and led a team of over 50 people. During her career, she has also held roles at Mothercare, Dixons Retail, Debenhams, The Burton Group and Next.
The retail asset management team sits within the direct real estate business of Aviva Investors Real Assets (AIRA), a platform established in May 2018 to bring together direct real estate, infrastructure, structured finance and private debt under a single operating structure.
