Based in the firm’s Rotterdam office, Lambert will manage all regional assets and focusing on developing strategies to add value to the existing portfolio. His appointment follows the announcement of Avignon’s second acquisition in The Hague, the Hilton Hotel, for €70 mln.

Erwin Hebels, managing director at Avignon Capital said: 'We are thrilled to have Andrew joining us as part of our expanding team in the Netherlands. He brings a wealth of experience across asset management; asset servicing and broad corporate real estate investment and he will be an integral part of our team.'

Lambert has over 20 years of experience in real estate, and, prior to joining Avignon, spent almost six years with UK property company TCN UK where he was director of asset management. Before that, he was associate director at CBRE, where he was responsible for the delivery of asset services to clients.

'Avignon has had a great start to 2020 and we will continue to invest in the onboarding of dynamic and experienced team members to support this growth,' concluded Hebels.
