UK housebuilder Avant Homes has announced five developments in North Yorkshire with 726 new homes for a total gross development value of £206 mln (€232.5 mln).
Work is already underway on the 80-home Ambretone Park development in Green Hammerton, Harrogate; 154-home Greenwards Point development in Easingwold, York; and 129-home Strawberry Fields development in Carlton, Leeds.
Planning permission has been obtained to build 150 dwellings in Sherburn-in-Elmet for £42 mln (€47 mln).
Planning approval is pending for a £60 mln (€67.7 mln), 213-home building that will be built as part of the Skelton Gate regeneration project in Leeds.

Launching with three developments underway, and two others receiving planning approval, means we have a great deal of momentum in North Yorkshire allowing us to deliver much-needed, new-build homes for people in the region.’
Yorkshire is the housebuilder’s seventh region complementing its existing operations based in Stirling, Sunderland, Wakefield, Chesterfield, Nottingham and Solihull.
