UK housebuilder Avant Homes has embarked on the £61 mln (€71 mln) Hackett Grange project in Radcliffe-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire.
The 13-acre development off Nottingham Road will offer a practical mix of 14 house types from two to five bedrooms, catering to diverse and modern lifestyles.
As part of Avant Homes' commitment to affordability, 30% of the 102 energy-efficient homes will be allocated for affordable ownership, while a £950,000 (€1.1 mln) community contribution is planned for local education and services, as well as a sustainable travel plan to keep things green.
Planning permission for the project was granted in October by the Rushcliffe Borough Council and construction work started in December. The first homes will hit the market in spring, with residents expected to move in by October.
Avant Homes East Midlands managing director, Ben Felton, said: ‘As a housebuilder, we want to provide quality new homes for everyone and Hackett Grange will be a great demonstration of us delivering on that promise. We are now well underway building a range of multi-tenure homes that are ideal for all types of buyers, whether first time, second steppers, families or downsizers, and are busily creating a new community within Radcliffe-on-Trent.’
Radcliffe on Trent is a village located on the south bank of Nottinghamshire, offering cliffside views of the River Trent.
Avant Homes East Midlands currently has five live developments, ranging from Cotchett Village in Mickleover to Barton Point in Kettering with others due to start. For its part, Avant Homes Group operates across the Midlands, north of England, and Scotland.
