German real estate firm Aurelis is to develop four office buildings in the centre of Nuremburg.

The project, called Marienzeile, will cover a total of 30,000 m2 on Bahnhofstrasse, with space for restaurants and retail on the ground floor.

‘We estimate an investment of around €56 mln. In addition, we will assume costs for the redesign of the Bahnhofstrasse, which will be grassed and widened,’ said CEO Stefan Wiegand. ‘Together with other projects in recent years, we have invested around €90 mln in Nuremberg.’

No anchor tenants have yet been found.

In February this year, German builder Hochtief sold it’s 43% stake in Aurelis to a consortium led by private equity firm Grove International, which already owned half of Aurelis.
