Atrium European Real Estate has appointed Tomasz Hofman as new manager of its Warsaw’s Atrium Promenada shopping centre.
Prior to his appointment, Hofman was in charge of the Zlote Tarasy and Riviera Gdynia malls. He also worked at Molo shopping centre, where he avoided its closure and managed its redevelopment.
‘I am very pleased to be joining Atrium Poland’s team at such a fascinating time of the Group’s flagship asset makeover,’ said Hofman. ‘In my new role I am going to focus on implementation of the new Promenada strategy as "the place to be".’
Atrium bought the asset in December 2011 for €171 mln. It has been undergoing a modernization and extension since 2015.
The centre currently hosts 180 stores owned by both international and Polish brands.
