Lisbon-based Atrium Investimentos, an independent asset manager specialising in alternative investments, has teamed up with CBRE Investors to launch 'GREFF' (Global Real Estate Fund of Funds). GREFF is primarily aimed at offering institutional investors exposure to a portfolio of 10-20 selected property funds with a main focus on European and Asian real estate. The partners hope that their investors will enjoy a total return of 13 to 15% per annum over the fund’s 10-year life.

The completion of the initial closing was announced this week. It was aimed at the Portuguese institutional market and raised EUR 54 mln in equity. Arium and CBRE Investors are targeting a total of EUR 250 mln for GREFF through additional closings within the next 12 months.
