Slovak company Atrios has announced plans for its first logistics park in Slovenia, located in Logatec.
The project, worth over €20 mln, is being funded by an Austrian-based private family company from Vienna, which focuses on investments in Austria and CEE.
The 26,000 m2 Logspot Logatec warehouse facility will be strategically located 25 kilometers from the capital Ljubljana and 75 kilometers from the port of Koper. The park will offer 1,000 m2 of office space and a 26,000 m2 warehouse. To promote sustainability, a photovoltaic power plant will be installed on the roof.
Construction of the logistics park commenced in May and is expected to be completed by the first half of 2025. The official opening is scheduled for the second quarter of next year.
The construction project is being executed by the Czech construction group HSF System, marking their first venture in Slovenia. Štajerski inženering is overseeing the planning and supervision of the construction.
The majority of the warehouse space at Logspot Logatec has been leased by the logistics group Milsped to improve its service offerings to customers in the Adriatic and Southeastern European regions.
Logspot Logatec will strive for BREEAM Very Good certification and feature a rooftop photovoltaic system. To reduce its environmental impact, air-to-air heat pumps will be used for heating and cooling.
The new warehouse in Logatec will be the inaugural building in the largest industrial park located outside of Ljubljana. This industrial zone, a joint effort initiated by the municipality of Logatec, will bridge two existing industrial areas.
