Romania-based Atlassib group is in talks to acquire two plots of land in Bucharest, on which the group intends to develop two four-star Ramada hotels in spring 2007. 'We are in the final stages of negotiation to acquire a plot of land in the centre of the capital and another one in the northern part of the city, where we will start the construction of two Ramada hotels,' the company's chairman Ilie Carabulea told Romanian newspaper ZF.

The two Bucharest hotels, each providing 120-150 rooms, will involve a EUR 40 mln investment by Atlassib. Apart from the two new developments, the company is planning to open a Ramada hotel in Timisoara, western Romania, and another one in Cluj-Napoca, north-western of the country.
