Belgian property company Atenor is acquiring the headquarters of ING in Luxembourg to redevelop it into a 10,000 m2 mixed-use scheme.
Atenor said it is buying the Cloche d’Or office scheme from the Dutch bank which will temporarily relocate to another office in March 2014, before moving to its new headquarters.
The asset, located at the heart of the Cloche d’Or administrative centre, will be redeveloped and extended according to a project designed by architects Beiler + François. On completion, the complex will provide 10,000 m2 of offices from 6,500 m2 previously.
Atenor has already pre-let the entire scheme to accounting firm BDO Luxembourg, which will move to the newly-redeveloped asset in early 2016.
