ASR Real Estate, part of Dutch insurer ASR, has appointed Bart Vink as head of fund management.
Vink will lead the fund management team of ASR Real Estate in addition to his current position as fund manager for the ASR Dutch prime retail fund.
Vink returned to ASR Real Estate three years ago as fund manager of the ASR Dutch prime retail fund, the fund he originally helped to structure and launch in 2011.
Before that, he spent six years at Redevco in various positions, including head of research & strategy. In that role he was responsible for developing and marketing new real estate funds.
ASR has been investment in real estate on behalf of institutional investors for more than 130 years and manages real estate portfolios.
As well as unlisted sector funds in the Netherlands, ASR manages separate accounts such as wind farms, solar parks and private estates.
