Arrow Capital Partners, the specialist investor, developer and manager of real estate in Europe and Asia-Pacific, has promoted Malgorzata de la Torre to head of Spain.
In this role, de la Torre will be responsible for managing all aspects of Arrow’s investment and development programme in Spain.
De la Torre joined Arrow in 2020 as head of acquisitions and since then has overseen more than €200 mln of transactions including core plus and value-add standing assets, as well as several development plots located in prime logistics markets.
Prior to joining Arrow, she was at CBRE in Spain for 10 years where she gained extensive experience in the logistics, office and retail sectors within the asset management and investment departments.
Commenting on the appointment, Christian Bearman, partner at Arrow, said: 'Malgorzata is a fantastic member of the team and thoroughly deserves this promotion following her significant contribution to the growth of our business in Spain. We’re actively pursuing further investment opportunities and developments, as well as special situations, industrial debt, repositioning and workouts.'
De la Torre added: 'This is an excellent opportunity to take our business forward at a key moment in the cycle as we start to see the early signs of a price correction in the Spanish market following an adjustment in market expectations. We’re anticipating this will lead to further investment opportunities, especially in the value-add space.
'We also remain focused on our development programme and continue to seek opportunities to acquire strategically located plots of land where occupier demand supports the development of modern, sustainable warehouse space.'
