Property developer Arqa has sold half of the entire Arqa Jolie Village residential development in the Iancu Nicolae area of Bucharest, less than a year after construction began.
Arqa Jolie Village comprises 158 units with amenities such as a heated swimming pool with saltwater treatment plant, a co-working area and after-school club. The project represents a total investment of more than €22 mln, of which €12 mln was financed via Libra Bank.
The Arqa Jolie Village community is predominantly made up of owner-occupiers, given its proximity to the main private schools in the area, which are a few minutes walk away.
Alexandru Radulescu, chief sales officer, Arqa, said: 'The project has also captured the attention of investors up to this stage of development, and the shift is now being made to the final customers, who are generally less risk averse than investors.
'Thus, more than 90% of the present discussions are with final clients, and this is also evident from the types of apartments requested, such as penthouses, or large apartments with their own garden, and mostly apartments with a value of more than €500,000.'
The delivery date for the project, developed in a single phase, is around June of this year. Throughout 2023, from the launch to the end of the year, the developer transacted units worth more than €15 mln.
Arqa Jolie Village is the first residential development to be developed between Petre Niculae and Florin Ababe.
Located close to the Baneasa Forest, the Zoo, and with quick access to shopping areas such as Baneasa Shopping City, Jolie Ville, the development features modern architecture, green spaces, and proximity to international schools in Bucharest, as well as the city centre and Otopeni Airport.
