Aroundtown has announced the appointment of Gerhard Cromme as the new chairman of its advisory board.
During his career, Cromme worked for several blue chip companies in Germany, as chairman of the supervisory board of Siemens, chairman of the executive board and chairman of the supervisory board of ThyssenKrupp; as well as supervisory board member of other leading companies such as Volkswagen, Lufthansa, Allianz, BNP Paribas, E.ON and Axel Springer.
Yakir Gabay and Claudio Jarczyk will remain members of the advisory board, Aroundtown said.
After the company's annual general meeting on June 27, 2018, Aroundtown will appoint Andrew Wallis as deputy CEO with responsibility for capital markets, operational strategy and ESG. Wallis previously worked as investment banker at Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan.
