Ares Management Real Estate Secondaries funds have agreed a deal for the recapitalization of a 28-strong light-industrial and logistics portfolio with most value tied to the Stockholm and Helsinki metropolitan areas.
Slättö, which is a private equity real estate firm focussed on the Nordics, will continue to manage the portfolio, with plans afoot to improve assets via asset management strategies, completing construction projects and increasing value in cash-flow assets for example through lease re-gears and energy saving measures.

Slättö was advised by Roschier and Svalner.
The Nordics specialist was founded in 2013 by Johan Karlsson as a one-man band. He launched maiden fund, Slättö I, in 2013 focusing on residential development in Stockholm, Sweden.
The company says 80% of its transactions to date have been off-market.
