A student accommodation business funded by Ares Management and specialist operator Generation Partners has acquired three properties in Dublin and Galway.
The assets add another 664 beds to the Here! brand which recently acquired properties in Glasgow, Scotland, and previously in Cardiff and Exeter.
The size of the new investments was not stated.
Wilson Lamont, partner and co-head of European real estate equity in the Ares Real Estate Group, said the new deals marked a geographic expansion into Ireland following acquisitions in the UK over the last year.
Ireland remains an attractive student accommodation market that still has a significant supply shortage, according to Generation Partners’ CEO, Alan Artus.
