Andersson Real Estate Investment Management, a real estate fund manager and advisory firm based in Stockholm, has appointed Therese Rattik as its new CEO.
Rattik has been a key member of the Areim team since its inception in 2003 and has played a leading role in several of the company's major transactions, both for Areim Fund I, and for partners such as Blackstone, ING and AP4.
She became a partner in 2007 and has over the years worked with Areim’s strategic development.
In handing over the CEO position to Rattik, the current CEO and founder of Areim, Leif Andersson, will focus more on transactions, investor relations and business development.
Areim was founded in 2003, with a focus mainly on serving as the Nordic real estate operating partner for the Blackstone Group. In 2005-2009, Areim broadened its client base by adding advisory services to ING Real Estate. In July 2013, Areim launched its second real estate fund, Areim Fund II, with a committed capital base of SEK 2.8 bn.
