Spanish real estate developer AQ Acentor has announced a €160 mln project to build two 30-story residential towers with over 400 homes in Burjassot, near Valencia, Spain.
The project will be developed on a plot of land in front of the Valencia Conference Centre, secured by AQ Acentor after months of negotiations.
The project also includes a third non-residential tower that could be used for a hotel, healthcare facility, university, or other purposes. This is expected to be a major landmark project for Burjassot and the surrounding area, creating over 2,000 jobs.
Abdías Vivo, general director of Investment at AQ Acentor, said: ‘Burjassot stands out for being one of the most dynamic municipalities in the Valencia metropolitan area. It houses the campuses of some of the main universities of the Valencian Community, as well as the Scientific Park of the University of Valencia, a significant number of university residences, and the IMED of Valencia.’
Sergio Gálvez, CEO of AQ Acentor, added: ‘Our commitment to this land translates into the promotion of more than 1,600 homes since 2018. The Valencia metropolitan area is, without a doubt, a priority investment objective within our national growth strategy.’
The plot is no more than a 10-minute walk from Avenida de las Cortes and 15 minutes from the city of Valencia thanks to the metro line.
AQ Acentor previously successfully developed the Turianova neighborhood (Fuente de San Luis) in the City of Turia.
With this project, AQ Acentor will exceed €500 mln invested in the development of residential projects in the Valencia metropolitan area.
Andersen was the legal advisor of AQ Acentor in this operation.
