London-based real estate investment company Aprirose has sold the Marine Point prime multi-let leisure development to David Samuel Properties for £44 mln (€51 mln).
The 21,796 m2 complex is located in New Brighton, an affluent seaside resort on the tip of the Wirral Peninsula between Liverpool and North Wales, with easy access to the M53 and Liverpool City Centre.
Anchored by a Morrisons supermarket, the scheme incorporates a seven screen Light Cinema and 66-bed Travelodge Hotel.
Other tenants include Iceland, Greene King, Home Bargains, Prezzo, Costa and Starbucks, while visitors have nearly 700 car parking spaces at their disposal.
Marine Point is one of the Wirral’s leading attractions, welcoming over 500,000 visitors a year and featuring panoramic views across the sea and marine boating lake.
CBRE acted for Aprirose, while David Samuel Properties were advised by Metis Real Estate Advisors.
Aprirose originally acquired Marine Point in 2016 from Promenade Estates for £42.5 mln (€49.5 mln).
