German real estate services provider Apleona has announced the appointment of Michael Lange as chief digital officer (CDO) with effect from 1 October 2018.
He will report directly to the CEO of the Apleona Group, Jochen Keysberg.
Lange, who has a doctorate in computer science in construction, will be responsible for Apleona Group’s digitalisation initiatives together with Apleona’s chief information officer (CIO) Bernhard Götze. This includes the development and implementation of digital solutions to improve the management and use of buildings and facilities in terms of efficiency and user friendliness.
The 43-year-old engineering graduate will contribute his expertise in the field of corporate strategy and as a key account manager for major international customers of Apleona, while Bernhard Götze, who has had overall responsibility for the Group’s IT since September 2017, will be in charge of technical development, the IT strategy, and the implementation of digital solutions.
Lange will continue in his previous role as commercial director for one of Apleona’s largest accounts as well as the fulfilling the role of CDO.
