Amsterdam-based investment manager APF International has joined forces with US privately-held group Angelo Gordon to acquire the building rights on a plot of land close to Utrecht central station in the Netherlands, from Dutch railway operator NS Stations.
Financial details were not disclosed.
Under the deal, the business partners will develop a 30,000 m2 office building and over 110 apartments on the site, situated directly adjacent the town hall at the Central Station.
It is the latest investment carried out by APF and Angelo Gordon over the past two years. In total, the two partners have acquired over 160,000 m2 in Amsterdam and Utrecht.
The buyer was advised by law firm Loyens & Loeff. Houthoff acted for the vendor.
