Real estate veteran Anne Kavanagh, currently CEO of Telford Homes, has been named the recipient of the 2023 Outstanding Contribution to Real Estate award from the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
The prize comes in recognition of her contribution to change, sustainability and DE&I across the industry throughout her career.
Alexandra Jezeph, senior development manager at Transport for London and ULI Global Governing Trustee, said: 'Anne has an exceptional career working with some of the most internationally recognised brands in real estate.
'Anne's name stood out as the winner of this award as someone who has demonstrated remarkable vision and leadership within our industry.
'She has shown great capacity to effect change and drive innovation in the sector, and through her involvement with organisations like the ULI, she has been enormously generous in sharing her time and insights as part of her mentorship of younger professionals.'
Kavanagh was presented with the award at ULI's leadership dinner held at the Imperial War Museum on 22 March. The event proceeds went to UrbanPlan, an educational initiative developed by ULI that teaches students about the fundamental forces that affect land development.
Kavanagh is currently CEO of Telford Homes, a Trammell Crow Company developer. She chairs the Telford Homes executive committee and sits on the board of sirectors.
She is a trustee and global board member of the ULI, a board member at The Crown Estate, and also serves on the advisory board of Cambridge University’s master’s degree in real estate finance.
Kavanagh said: 'I am humbled and honoured to receive this award. I have dedicated my career to transforming and growing global businesses, working closely with investors and occupiers and driving diversity and sustainability, so to have this recognised by ULI is a great accomplishment.
'Thank you to the jury and ULI for this significant recognition.'
