Angus Dodd has joined Lone Star Management Europe as managing director responsible for identifying UK real estate investments for Lone Star funds. He was previously at JER Partners for five years, where he was managing director responsible for acquisitions in the UK and Germany.
Angus Dodd has joined Lone Star Management Europe as managing director responsible for identifying UK real estate investments for Lone Star funds. He was previously at JER Partners for five years, where he was managing director responsible for acquisitions in the UK and Germany.
Dodd qualified as a chartered surveyor at Jones Lang Wootton in the early 1990s before moving to BZW and then Parkes & Company, which was acquired by Invesco in 2001. He has a degree from Cambridge University.
Along with France and Germany, where the Lone Star Funds have significant existing business, the UK is one of the funds' key European target markets.
The funds have historically focused on distressed markets and have not previously made any significant investments in the UK.
