French fund manager Amundi has quietly offloaded two Hamburg office buildings in a move signaling its reduced appetite for the sector.
Amundi's Opcimmo fund has divested the 15,017 m2 Brooktorkai 20 to a resident shipping company.
The 2010-built property sits in Hamburg's economically vibrant HafenCity district.
Berenberg and BNP Paribas Real Estate facilitated the sale, reportedly valued at around €75 mln, though an official figure remains undisclosed.
In a separate deal, Amundi's Immanens fund parted ways with the Stadtparkturm located at Hindenburgstrasse 49 near City-Nord.
NAS acquired the 8,491 m2 building reportedly for €17.5 mln, although both parties have not officially come out with any figures. CBRE advised on the transaction.
The property was built in 2010 and purchased by Immanens in 2014 for €18.5 mln and witnessed its value climb to €26.5 mln by 2022, fueled by €1.4 mln in annual rental income.
Since 2021, Amundi has shown a growing interest in diversifying beyond offices, targeting sectors like healthcare and residential.
