Portuguese Amorim Imobiliaria has invested EUR 33 mln in the Dolce Vita de Ovar shopping centre in Ovar, northern Portugal. The centre is scheduled to open in April 2007, and will provide some 20,400 m[sup]2[/sup] of one-level retail space with about 60 shopping units.

Portuguese Amorim Imobiliaria has invested EUR 33 mln in the Dolce Vita de Ovar shopping centre in Ovar, northern Portugal. The centre is scheduled to open in April 2007, and will provide some 20,400 m2 of one-level retail space with about 60 shopping units.

The mall is part of the Sportsforum mixed-use complex located in the north of the city of Ovar. It includes leisure and commercial areas as well as sports facilities. The Portuguese property promoter said 98% of the shopping mall has already been leased.

Last week, the firm, which has about 400,000 m2 of retail under management in Spain and Portugal, announced it was to invest EUR 162 mln in a 64,000 m2 mall in La Coruna region, northern Spain.
