San Francisco-based property developer and owner AMB Property Corporation said it has agreed a 10-year lease for about 16,600 m2 of its AMB East London Distribution Park to UK direct mail company DSICMM.

With DSICMM as a tenant, AMB has already leased more than half of the total 29,800-m2 premises within weeks of acquiring the facility. AMB East London Distribution Park is a two-building facility situated in Binary Park adjacent to a major highway. It is located within 10 miles (16 km) of Central London and seven miles to the east of the 2012 Olympic Games.

AMB's growth in Europe has accelerated of late. Earlier this month, the company purchased a 520,000 m2 site in Paris, which when fully developed could support over 212,000 m2 of distribution space.

As of 30 September, the company's European portfolio totalled more than 904,500 m2 of properties which are operational or under development. AMB's shares are listed on the New York stock exchange. Click on the link below for more on AMB's activities in Europe.
