'The Port of Rotterdam is Europe's largest logistic and industrial hub. With a total throughput of 9.7 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) in 2006, Rotterdam is the largest port in Europe and the seventh largest port worldwide in container volume. Being the gateway to a European market of 450 million consumers makes it a target market for AMB's European expansion,' commented Mo Barzegar, AMB's managing director, Europe.

AMB's portfolio of operating and development properties in the Netherlands totals about 215,000 m2, of which more than 66,400 m2 is located in the Port of Rotterdam. AMB's Europe portfolio consists of some 905,000 m2 of logistics and distribution properties, both operating and under development in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK.
