Industrial real estate company AMB has entered into an agreement for the forward acquisition of a multi-tenant logistics facility in Bleiswijk near the Dutch port city of Rotterdam. AMB Bleiswijk Distribution Center is being co-developed by AMB and Maasstede Vastgoed Ontwikkeling V.O.F. The property is expected to total 42,000 m[sup]2[/sup] upon completion in the third quarter of 2008. 3Stone Real Estate advised AMB on the deal.

'AMB Bleiswijk Distribution Center is located along a major logistics corridor of the Netherlands, a highway system connected to the Rhine-Ruhr region of Germany and to Belgium,' said Anton van Vlerken, AMB's general manager in the Benelux region. The leasing brokers for the facility are Hopman & Schreuder, 3Stone Real Estate and DTZ Zadelhoff.
AMB has a portfolio of operating properties in the Netherlands totalling nearly 315,500 m2, of which more than 108,500 m2 is located in and around Rotterdam.
