Developer AM Vastgoed has completed the takeover of Dutch peer IPMMC, a specialist in development, consultancy and management of complex projects. Utrecht-based IPMMC Vastgoed has a development portfolio of 550,000 m[sup]2[/sup] of commercial property space. AM has a 640,000 m[sup]2[/sup] development portfolio covering urban renewal, office and retail centre projects. The company said the takeover strengthens its position in the commercial real estate sector and provides IPPMC with the financial resources for further growth.

AM and IPPMC first announced the takeover plans on 16 May. IPMMC will continue to operate under its own name.
