Alpstar Capital, a European asset manager and investment advisor, has announced the appointment of Biren Amin as Head of Real Estate, a new position for the company.
Alpstar Capital, a European asset manager and investment advisor, has announced the appointment of Biren Amin as Head of Real Estate, a new position for the company.
Amin was previously responsible for the Real Estate Opportunity Funds business at AXA Real Estate Investment Managers. Prior to AXA he was Vice President at the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation, and before that Executive Director of Goldman Sachs, engaged in real estate investing in Europe and Asia.
'Biren's hire illustrates our commitment to real estate investment and advisory work,' said Bertrand Pinel, Alpstar CEO. 'He brings the talent we need to drive our real estate business forward in Spain and throughout Europe.'
Separately, Alpstar Capital has received formal FSA regulatory approval for its London office. 'We are equally delighted with this formal confirmation of our serious commitment to the UK market, and its regulatory environment,' Pinel said.
Alpstar Capital and its affiliates maintain offices in London, Geneva, and Madrid.
