Allianz Real Estate names new head of retail

Allianz Real Estate has appointed Marina Jestin as new head of retail, reporting to chief investment officer Charles Pridgeon.

Jestin, who will be based in the Paris office, has over 20 years’ experience in the real estate industry having held a number of senior positions at Unibail-Rodamco and most recently at Viparis, a consortium of 10 congress and exhibitions venues in Paris.

At Unibail Rodamco, she worked as group managing director of operations around Europe, in charge of implementing the group strategy, methodology and value creation process, reporting to the chief operation officer.

In her new role as head of retail at Allianz Real Estate, Jestin will work on the retail strategy and will support Allianz in growing its proportion of retail assets in the global portfolio while optimizing the existing retail portfolio.
