Allianz Real Estate has announced the appointment of Thomas Gsaenger as new head of Indirect investments starting on 1 June.

Allianz Real Estate has announced the appointment of Thomas Gsaenger as new head of Indirect investments starting on 1 June.

Gsaenger has almost 20 years of experience in real estate, having held several senior positions at Hannover Leasing, E.ON and Pacific Star Europe.

Before joining Allianz he was head of investment management real estate and infrastructure at insurer HUK Coburg Versicherungsgruppe.

As head of Indirect Investments at Allianz Real Estate, Gsaenger will have the overall responsibility for the global indirect real estate portfolio of Allianz, further developing the investment strategy for indirect investments. In his new position he will report to Olivier Téran, chief investment officer of Allianz Real Estate.
