Allianz Real Estate France has acquired a 10,500 m2 office building in Luxembourg on behalf of various Allianz companies.
The property was sold by Belgian real estate investor Fidentia. The investment volume was not disclosed.
The Serenity office building is located at 19-21 route d’Arlon in Luxembourg's Strassen district. The building was completed in 2010 and covers an area of 10,486 m2 and includes 532 parking spaces.
Serenity was the first building in Luxembourg to obtain the HQE (NF HQE Tertiary Buildings) substainability certification. This certificate was awarded in 2010 for the construction of the building, and it has also been assigned the HQE level 'Excellent' for the use of the building since November 2014.
'This first acquisition in Luxembourg, on behalf of Allianz' investors, enables us to strenghten the geographic diversification within our portfolio,' said Barbara Koreniouguine, CEO of Allianz Real Estate France, which also covers the Benelux region.
Allianz was advised by Arendt & Medernach, EY et Socotec. Fidentia Real Estate Investments was advised by JLL and Heilporn & Kadaner.
