French investment manager Alderan has acquired a recording studio complex in Amsterdam from fund manager Nova Capital in its first investment in the Netherlands.
The 12,500 m² MediArena asset was acquired on behalf of Alderan’s open-ended fund, SCPI Comète.
Financial details were not disclosed.
Located in Amsterdam’s Zuidoost district, the property is let to Banijay Benelux, part of French media and entertainment company Banijay, on a WALT of over 11 years. It offers an expected annual yield of around 8%.
MediArena was custom-built in 2010 to meet the specific needs of a television production company and comprises recording studios, office spaces, and a large underground parking lot.
Alderan was advised by APF International on the transaction. The seller was assisted by Cushman & Wakefield.
