Austrian real estate firm Akron has started the development of the 46,000-m[sup]2[/sup] Baltic Logistics Park in Kiev. The property is located 13 km from Kiev city and will include around 3,000 m[sup]2[/sup] of office accomodation. Akron, which was advised by Colliers International Ukraine, said that 80% of the financing will be provided by an Austrian bank. 'We’re expecting the strong growth in the market to persist,' said Stefan Ausch, partner of the Akron Group.

Akron develops and manages office buildings, logistics centres and shopping centres and operates in Germany, the Netherlands, Hungary, Poland, the Ukraine, Russia and Croatia. At present, it manages property investments in 57 projects with an aggregate amount of EUR 1.2bn.
