Austrian real estate investment company Akron has acquired the ABC Tower at Cologne airport from an unnamed private investor for about EUR 70 mln, according to a press release. The deal marks Akron's biggest acquisition of an office building in Germany to date.

The 66-metre high building comprises 18 floors, a lettable area of 20,000 m2 and 450 parking spaces. International tenants include Philip Morris and Catlin. Vienna-based Akron purchases, develops, and manages office and logistic buildings and shopping centres in Eastern, Western and Central Europe.
