Catalan listed real estate company Aisa has said that it is in merger talks with Barcelona-based construction group Hemeretik. The company added that no agreement has yet been reached but the companies have set a deadline of 30 June next year to decide whether to proceed with a merger or not.

Hemeretik, which has a turnover of EUR 300 mln in 2007, operates mainly in the construction, services and hotel sectors.

Aisa, headed by Genis Marfa, agreed earlier this year on a possible merger with construction company Astroc Mediterraneo but this was put on hold in November pending the integration of Astroc's Rayet Promocion and Landscape units.
