Affine, a French development and construction company, has purchased a logistic building, comprising 19,000 m2 of warehouse and 2,800 m2 of office space, on a 6-hectare plot of land in Leers in the industrial zone of eastern Roubaix. The financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Built in 1974, the building has undergone refurbishment by Concerto Developpement, a subsidiary of Affine specialised in logistics buildings. The main tenant is the mail order company Stocktrans under a lease with nine years remaining. The transaction reflects a 8% yield, the company said in a press release.
On January 3, Affine acquired the industrial site of the French automotive equipment maker Epeda thorough Concerto Developpement. The site comprises four buildings with a total of 26,000 m2 on a seven-hectare piece of land.
