Russell Jewell, head of private equity real estate at AEW Europe, who has been with the firm for over 11 years, has become a part-time senior advisor to the company.
Jewell joined AEW Europe in July 2011 and was responsible for non-core investments in the region from his base in London.
Prior to that, he was with Strategic Value Partners and Merrill Lynch as head of European real estate principal investments.
