Paris-based investment manager AEW Europe was the stand-out performer at IPD’s 2013 European Property Investment Awards, with its funds in CEE and France winning prizes.
The awards recognise funds that have provided the highest total return over a three-year period against an index of peers. The two categories are ‘balanced funds’ (those measured against IPD’s all property index) and ‘specialist funds’, which are benchmarked against a specific sector.
AEW won for its balanced fund in CEE and its specialist fund in France. CBRE Global Investors won for best pan-European fund.
