The deal was conducted through the Logistis Fund, with Dils acting as AEW’s advisor.

The warehouse will be delivered by the end of 2022, in accordance with the tenant's specifications and with E2K as general contractor.

The Grade A asset will have a covered area of over 37,000 m2 and will be equipped with 38 loading bays, three ground level access points, a photovoltaic system and a NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) sprinkler system.

Alfredo Mauri, head of Logistics & Industrial at Dils, commented: 'This deal confirms the positive take up trend underway in Italy and in particular in the Rome market, where the scarcity of modern product available for rent, combined with increased demand for Grade A assets, drastically reduces the take up times for newly built complexes.’

The property will feature high quality, energy efficiency and environmental sustainability standards and be certified BREEAM New Construction Very Good.

This transaction confirms the Passo Corese area as the prime location for logistics in Rome, located only 20 km from Rome and 6 km from the Fiano Romano exit of the A1 motorway.

In the last 24 months, Dils has been commercial advisor for about 150,000 m2 of new construction in the district, with almost 60% of spaces let to AEW.
