AEW's head of asset management for all public listed funds Pierre Pélabon has joined Balzac REIM as principal and joint managing director.
His responsibilities will include fund management and assisting the company develop AUM beyond its current €1 bn level.
Pélabon has 30 years’ experience in asset management in financial institutions in France including 6 years at Archon Group (Goldman Sachs). In 2007 he joined fund manager Ciloger to set up their Asset Management department for regulated Fund Management clients (OPCIs and SCPIs). Ciloger was sold to AEW in 2017 whereupon he became head of Asset Management for all public listed funds with €6 bn of AUM.
Balzac REIM, created in 2007, is an independent investment and asset management company, specialising in Paris offices, advising international investor clients acquire core and value-add properties, either independently or in joint venture.
