Pan-European real estate investment manager AEW Europe has appointed Tim Hennes as head of asset management for Germany and Central Europe.
Pan-European real estate investment manager AEW Europe has appointed Tim Hennes as head of asset management for Germany and Central Europe.
Hennes will be responsible for creating asset management strategies for investment assets managed by the firm and further expanding the asset management platform in both Germany and Central Europe.
He will be based in Düsseldorf and report to Stephan Boenning, head of Germany, who has taken on additional responsibility for Central Europe.
Germany and Central Europe represent more than 16% of the €17.6 bn of assets that AEW Europe manages across Europe.
Prior to joining AEW Europe, Hennes worked at PointPark Properties in Frankfurt as head of asset management for Western Europe.
He also previously worked in the asset management and legal team at Heitman, where he was a vice-president and responsible for Western Europe and joint ventures in Central Europe.
