Fund manager AEW has appointed Tim Sankey as head of separate accounts in London, with responsibility for managing the London office’s European separate account mandates on behalf of a number of international clients.
Sankey will lead AEW’s dedicated separate accounts team in London, which is focused on supporting clients in building large real estate investment portfolios across the UK and Europe.
He has over 25 years’ experience within the real estate sector. Prior to joining AEW, he was head of real estate investment management at Border to Coast Pensions Partnership, a £30 bn asset management business, where he led the development of a regulated UK and Global Real Estate Investment capability for pension scheme shareholders and investors and was responsible for developing UK and Global investment strategies.
He previously spent 16 years at Aberdeen Asset Management managing a range of funds and separate accounts for both UK and international investors
