Italian real estate company Aedes has signed an agreement for a EUR 73 mln medium-term loan. In a statement, Aedes said the loan, which will mature in 36 months, is expected to be repaid in June 2010. The deal was organized by Banca Profilo as lead underwriter.

The transaction saw the participation of a syndicate of banks with Banca Popolare di Vicenza as financing and agent bank. The financing will be used to fund acquisitions already in pipeline. An Aedes spokeswoman would not disclose which acquisitions the company is planning, but told PropertyEU that these are expected to be completed by the summer.
