Malta-based boutique fund manager Adventum International has acquired the 17.500 m2 Katowice Business Point office building in Katowice, Poland, for an undisclosed amount.

The deal, the fourth investment made by Adventum's Quartum real estate fund in CEE over the past seven months, involves an 11-storey, office building boasting a BREEAM ‘Very good’ green rating.

Katowice Business Point (KBP) was developed in 2010 by Ghelamco as their flagship project in Katowice.  The property serves as the headquarters of Tauron Polska Energia SA, the largest energy distributor in Poland.

The deal was financed by Santander Bank Polska with CBRE representing the purchaser as debt advisor.
