German listed firm Accentro Real Estate said on Friday that it has agreed the acquisition of 279 residential units in Berlin for an undisclosed amount.
The assets offer a combined area of around 17,700 m2 and are earmarked for privatisation.
'The apartments are situated in attractive locations of Berlin, and are superbly suited for retailing. It marks another step in the continued implementation of our expansion strategy,' said Jacopo Mingazzini, CEO of Accentro Real Estate.
Since the beginning of the year, Accentro has taken over 1,115 apartments for privatisation purposes. 'This is a good time both for owner-occupiers and for private investors to buy residential property,' said Mingazzini.
Based in Berlin and listed in Frankfurt, Accentro Real Estate focuses on residential assets with its core business consisting of tenant-sensitive housing privatisations.
