Aberdeen Asset Management has appointed Ibtissem Sfaxi as senior business development manager for France and the Middle East in its property business division.
Aberdeen Asset Management has appointed Ibtissem Sfaxi as senior business development manager for France and the Middle East in its property business division.
Aberdeen said the newly created role is aimed at deepening the coverage of property clients in Europe and the Middle East. Sfaxi will work closely with the generalist business development and wider distribution teams.
She joins from Pradera Real Estate, a UK based fund manager, where she was responsible for business development in Europe and the Middle East. Prior to joining Pradera, she was vice-president at JER Partners (2007-2008), responsible for capital raising for the company’s various opportunistic fund offerings.
Sfaxi, who has dual British/Tunisian nationality, began her career in property business development at Capital & Marketing Group (2003-2007), where she participated in capital raising over EUR 6 bn of equity.
